The Grace First Concert Series is excited to kick off our 2016-17 Season with quirky, catchy, fun and incredibly talented Smithfield Bargain.

Billing themselves as “Speakeasy Folk” sweethearts, Smithfield Bargain puts a unique, jazz spin on folk music, rich with heart-bending vocal harmonies and a happy dose of humor. Composed of a dynamic trio of singer-songwriters (Sri Panchalam, Daniel Landau, and David Landau), Smithfield Bargain’s finely crafted songs and charismatic, vaudevillian stage performance have earned them tours in Brazil and the West Coast, radio play across the United States, and an ever-growing international fanbase.

Their newest EP “Buttonwillow,” released at The Hotel Cafe in December 2014, features five tracks that capture the band’s eclectic folk style with dark, bluesy twists on old traditionals like “O Susannah!” right next door to catchy, toe-tappers like “Warm Whispers.” To learn more, get hep with the band on Facebook, Instagram @smithfieldbargain, or Twitter @strikeabargain.
