Public Invited To Free Grant Writing Workshop on February 8

for the Conceptual Restoration Plan of the Los Cerritos WetlandsResidents are invited to a free “Grant Writing Basics” workshop, Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the Neighborhood Resource Center.

Presenter Karen Reside, Principal with Resides & Associates, will discuss the elements of a strong grant proposal, and how to find suitable grants and identify potential funders.

Space is limited. To guarantee a seat, RSVP to the Neighborhood Resource Center at 562.570.1010. Spanish and Khmer translation available. Free parking is available behind the building and on the street.

The Grant Writing Basics workshop is Wednesday, February 8, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Neighborhood Resource Center 425 Atlantic Avenue, Long Beach. The workshop is FREE and open to the public.

Attendees are invited to bring canned food to donate to Food Finders to assist our Long Beach neighbors during the current economic crisis.

The City of Long Beach is dedicated to providing residents with resources to address quality of life concerns in an effort to create and maintain clean, safe and healthy neighborhoods.
