Great Homes of Long Beach Tour Will Spotlight The Best

The work of five early Long Beach architects and a special opening of CSULB’s Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden will be featured during Long Beach Heritage’s annual Great Homes of Long Beach Tour on June 5 from 12-5 pm. Docents will highlight the history of the homes, which range in style and age from a 1911 Craftsman designed by the firm of Meyer & Holler to a 1952 mid-century modern designed by Richard Neutra. Reminiscent of the numerous Japanese gardens that graced Craftsman style homes at the turn of the century, the Earn Burns Miller Japanese Garden will be offering tours and light refreshments in honor of their 30th anniversary.

Tickets are $30 for members and $35 for non-members. Tickets can be purchased through PayPal or by mailing a check to Long Beach Heritage, PO Box 92521, Long Beach, CA 90809 with a self-addressed stamped envelope.
