Greener Good Farmer’s Market Re-Opens in North Long Beach

The Greener Good Farmer’s Markets have put together a full day of food, fun and live entertainment on Friday, April 4. The Spring Fest 2014 is the official re-grand opening of the North Long Beach Farmers Market on Fridays.
The event will introduce new farmers, vendors, restaurants and local businesses from within North Long Beach’s 9th district and connect the community in a family-friendly and festive atmosphere.
“This event will connect, educate and motivate the local community in a way that has not been done in North Long Beach or at any other farmers market in Long Beach period.” said organizer and Sr. Market Manager, Stephen Metz.
Performances include Jordan High School and Hamilton Middle School. Other professional performances include local artists like Stary Apple, Gospel recording artist, Kesha Ealy and Jazz artist, Dave Williams and the MBT band. Special guest MC’s, Sequoia Neff and Sharaud Moore from the radio internet show “Battle Of The Sexes.” Also events during the day will include a free healthy eating classes taught by Dr. Peggy’e Martin and free art workshop for kids taught and led by Viktoriya Hristova.
The farmers market re-opens Friday, April 4, 2014 from 1:00pm- to 8:00pm on the corner of Atlantic and Artesia and experience some fantastic food and entertainment throughout the day.
