Headliners Named For 2nd Annual Long Beach Festival Gay Latino

Align Productions is proud to announce that this year’s musical headliners will include Sonsoles, as well as performances by El Zoruyo, Sambala, Mariachi Fina Estampa, Cumbia Son, Xipe Totec Danza Azteca, Graci, Sah’Shey’s Showcase, and Karina, at the 2nd Annual Long Beach Festival Gay Latino, the Long Beach Latin Gay Pride, on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the Marina Green Park on Shoreline Drive, from 11:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M.

Get ready for some exciting and invigorating performances on this year’s main stage at Long Beach Festival Gay Latino. Rock en Esponal Latin hit topping band Sonsoles will be one of the spectacular performances of the event. They will be singing their songs, “Otra Vez” and “Mientras Te Vas”. Sonsoles was founded in Los Angeles is 2008 by keyboardist Steve Balazar and bassist, Cesar Abrego. The lineup was solidified with drummer Lonnie Morenol Salvador, and Los Angeles. They fuse rock, pop, dance, reggaton, and salsa rhythms with dynamic beats, plus catchy melodies that have landed them on performances on television, as well as events world-wide such as Fox 11, NUVOtv, Univision Lanzate y Primera Edicion, KPFK, and Estilo Magazine.

Also performing this year is a special appearance from Dj Lancia and El Zoruyo, originally from Columbia, this 7 piece band will have you up dancing to the salsa, meringue, and cumbia beats. In addition, Sambala will be entertaining the audience with their LIVE Brazilian musical assembly complete with gorgeous Samba dancers and rhythmic drum line. If cumbia is your thing, join Cumbia Son, on stage to dance to the Latin beat or join Latin pop artist Katrina, as she sings to a Latin Jazz fusion mix. Show stoppers include a special performance in Honor of Mexican Independence Day by Mariachi Fina Estampa, Xipe Totec Danza Azteca, and a special tribute to Long Beach local Jenni Rivera performed by Gracie, as well as Sah’Shey’s Showcase, which includes some of LA and Orange Counties top Latin Female Impersonators, and Carlos as Chayanne.

The event celebrates Latin American Heritage Month and Mexican Independence Day. The event is open to the public and is welcoming of the LGBTQ community. Tickets are $10. For more information log on to www.lbfgl.com.
