Rose Park Gazebo

The Rose Park Neighborhood Association seeks sponsors for its Rose Park Heritage Walk. Engraved bricks will be placed in the park walkways and proceeds will benefit work that beautifies, enhances and sustains Rose Park, such as landscaping, repairs, community events, and so forth.

The Rose Park neighborhood, which extends roughly from Cherry to Redondo Avenue between 4th and 10th streets, features many historic homes from the early 20th century. The Park was recently restored, under the leadership of Second District Councilwoman and Vice Mayor Suja Lowenthal and the Rose Park Neighborhood Association.

For the Heritage Walk project, sponsors purchase a 4”x8” clay brick to be engraved in black with up to 54 characters to commemorate, pay tribute to, or honor a loved one, organization, or event.

Anyone interested in purchasing a brick for $150 can visit the Rose Park Neighborhood website, or contact Park Committee Member Daniel Brezenoff at or (310) 422-2211.

The Heritage Walk brochure may be obtained by downloading the Heritage Walk brochure online.
