Home Ownership and Credit: Free workshop from the Neighborhood Resource Center

Long Beach residents are invited to a “Home Ownership and Credit” workshop on Wednesday, January 13, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at the Neighborhood Resource Center, 425 Atlantic Ave.
The free workshop is presented by Bill Massey and Roger Hinkle from America West Mortgage, and Dale Hutchinson, Housing Services Operations Officer with the City of Long Beach Department of Community Development.
Workshop topics include:
- How to repair and improve your credit and FICO score
- Down payment assistance – What’s available in today’s real estate market?
- Why home ownership versus renting? – What’s the advantage
- Is now the right time to buy a home?
