HSLB opens up gallery space as event venue

The Historical Society of Long Beach (HSLB) is making its one-of-a-kind museum space available as a venue for events.
At Bixby Knolls First Friday last week the beautiful space was showcased for the public with food, wine, live entertainment, and event décor – all from Long Beach vendors. Visitors had the chance to experience the event potential of the venue while learning about the unique opportunities available at the best kept secret in Long Beach.
The available space functions as the HSLB museum and research center. Comprising two galleries, the event venue is populated with wall exhibits highlighting the city’s rich history through photographs, illustrations, advertising art, and artifacts from the HSLB collection. Within the galleries are moveable walls that enable various space configurations to suit the individual needs of many types of events.
It is ideal for those looking for a dynamic venue to host corporate meetings and offsites, birthdays, weddings, retirement and graduation parties, award banquets, reunions — the list is endless! The pricing is highly competitive with other venues in the city and offers the chance to bring your guests into a distinctive space, one that will not be confused with “just another hotel conference room.” Visit the Historical Society of Long Beach and see for yourself the amazing possibilities we can offer.
