‘Inside Long Beach’ Invites You to a Red Carpet Premiere Event on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010

Join The Long Beach Housing Development Company and the Long Beach Redevelopment Agency when they roll out the red carpet for the third season premiere of the award-winning TV series Inside Long Beach starring “Our Town and Our Stories.” The premiere will take place on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 5:30 pm during Second Saturday Art Walk in the East Village Arts District, on First Street between Elm and Linden Avenues.
Join Vice Mayor Suja Lowenthal and Inside Long Beach hosts, KJLH radio personality Nautica de la Cruz and TV personality Faruq Tauheed, on the red carpet. There will be food, drink, music and art. Watch clips from previous shows and red carpet interviews on a giant inflatable movie screen. Afterward, explore the East Village’s galleries, restaurants and unique shops.
Produced by The Long Beach Housing Development Company and the Long Beach Redevelopment Agency, in collaboration with Long Beach TV, Inside Long Beach is a look into the people, places, programs and projects in Long Beach. The show highlights positive changes occurring throughout the City. Since its inception, the show has engaged and informed the community by showcasing more than 50 celebrations including groundbreakings, demolitions, community previews, bus tours, grand openings and more.
The public is invited to enjoy the red carpet experience while special guests are interviewed about their projects and successes.
