Known for his uncanny ability to joke about the little things in life, comedian and actor Jerry Seinfeld brings his signature stand-up comedy routine to the SMG-managed Terrace Theater on Thursday, September 5th, 2013, at 7PM. This event is a JS Touring production.
Seinfeld is best known for playing a semi-fictional version of himself in the sitcom Seinfeld, which he co-created and co-wrote with Larry David. The show aired for nine seasons and was arguably the most successful situation comedy of the 1990s.
After the success of Seinfeld, he returned to stand-up comedy, embarking on multiple national tours of comedy clubs and theaters, one of which was documented in the 2002 film Comedian. He also wrote Seinlanguage (1993), a best-selling book of humorous observations, and the children’s book Halloween (2003). He also co-wrote, co-produced and starred in the animated Bee Movie (2007).
“Jerry has the ability to connect with all types of audience members through his observational comedy,” said Dan Spellens, Director of Theaters & Entertainment for SMG at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center. “We are thrilled to welcome him back to the Terrace Theater,” he concluded.
