Joe Montana, Dennis Rodman & Oscar Robertson to Sign Autographs at the Long Beach Coin, Stamp & Sports Collectible Expo

Three outstanding Hall of Fame athletes will sign autographs for fans on Saturday, June 8, 2013, at the Long Beach Coin, Stamp & Sports Collectible Expo ( The all-star autograph line up will feature Football Hall of Fame member Joe Montana and Basketball Hall of Fame members Dennis Rodman and Oscar Robertson.

Former San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Dwight Clark, who made “The Catch” from Montana for a last minute touchdown to win the 1982 NFC Championship Game against the Dallas Cowboys, will also be signing autographs at the show on June 8.

“Representatives of PSA/DNA Authentication Services will be available to immediately certify the signatures,” said Cassi East, President of the Long Beach Expo, a division of Collectors Universe, Inc. (NASDAQ: CLCT). “The show also will feature some of the top sports memorabilia dealers in the country buying and selling historic sports treasures.”

The three-day Long Beach Expo will be open to the public, Thursday to Saturday, June 6 – 8, in the Long Beach Convention Center, 100 S. Pine Ave.

The autograph line up on Saturday, June 8, will be Oscar Robertson from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Dennis Rodman from Noon to 2 p.m. (with photo opportunities during the first half hour only); and Joe Montana and Dwight Clark from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (photo opps during first half hour only).

The Long Beach Coin, Stamp & Sports Collectible Expo will be open to the public for buying and selling sports memorabilia, gold and silver, rare coins, vintage paper money, rare stamps and other collectibles and estate jewelry. There will be daily drawings to give away a century-old U.S. silver dollar to a lucky, registered visitor.

Exhibits at the show include a multi-million dollar display of historic early American half-cent denomination coins dating back to 1793, and an award-winning set of 1959 Nu-Cards Rock and Roll Stars trading cards featuring Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Cash and other popular singers of the day.

The Long Beach Expo will be open to the public Thursday and Friday, June 6 and 7, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, June 8, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Public admission is $8 (good for all three days); $6 for members of any coin or stamp club; $4 for seniors 65 and older and for children ages 8 to 16. Free admission for children ages 7 and younger and for members of the Collectors Universe Collectors Clubs and Set Registries.
