Kids Fishing Rodeo to Offer Fun and Prizes

The 57th Annual Kids Fishing Rodeo will be held Friday, July 30 at Belmont Veterans Memorial Pier. The Rodeo, a 2010 Long Beach Sea Festival event, is open to kids 16 and under. Kids 12 and under must be supervised by an adult, and each participant must bring their own rod and reel.
The event, free to the public, includes bait, snacks, fishing instruction and prizes in many various fishing categories, as well as a raffle. Pre-registration forms can be found on the Alfredo’s Beach Club website.
The Kids Fishing Rodeo takes place Friday, July 30 from 8 a.m.-noon at the Belmont Veterans Memorial Pier, 15 39th Place, Long Beach, 90803. For further information, call (562) 434-1542.
The Kids Fishing Rodeo is sponsored by Funky Monkey Snacks, in conjunction with the Tuna Club of Southern California, Alfredo’s Beach Club, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Long Beach and the Grunion Gazette.
