For the fourth year in a row, the Arts Council has partnered with the Port of Long Beach for the Port of Long Beach PHOTO GALLERY, a three-part photography learning experience for amateur and professional photographers alike.
Viento Y Agua is pleased to present, Philogyny, an art exhibit featuring oil and acrylic works by Kristina Ambriz. Inspired by her everyday encounters with charismatic women, Philogyny takes the hue and essence of feminine allure and translates it into paint and canvas.

ArtExchange (ArtX) has announced Special Exhibitions and program highlights for “artXwalk” on December 13, 2014. A monthly celebration of visual art – each Second Saturday at 3rd and Elm in Long Beach’s East Village Arts District – artXwalk is a free event, open to the public, and full of festivities such as family art activities, live music, artisan vendors, food truck, and art.
The first-place winner was Cherene Birkholz for her photo Oriental Queen.
The Arts Council for Long Beach announced the three winners of a Port of Long Beach photography competition at a reception Saturday, Oct. 4, in Long Beach’s East Village Arts District.

Color,” featuring three artists: Olivier Clavel, Herlinda Rojas-Giandalia and Adrian Sandstrom.
