A gala reception Saturday, Oct. 4, will kick off a month-long art exhibition showcasing the Port of Long Beach in images captured by professional and amateur photographers.
The show, “Port of Long Beach PHOTOGALLERY,” will be held at the Liberty Gallery and Event Space, 6-10 p.m., at 435 Alamitos Ave., in conjunction with Long Beach Arts Month.
USA Today has called Long Beach the most diverse city in the United States. COLOR ME LONG BEACH: A Multicultural Urban Arts and Video Experience, offers the community an opportunity to experience that diversity in a celebration of multicultural urban arts and video representing the many communities that call Long Beach home.

Les Jolis Trésors, the Long Beach contemporary art gallery, is announcing “Couleurs de l’Eau” (Colours of water), a group show where three artists (Annie Clavel, Linda Gunn and Dawn Quinones) demonstrate how they capture the tones and hues of water in their creations.
A contemporary stencil-art show featuring graphic artist/guitarist/composer/producer/video editor Josh Blue Eagle Cardinali (aka JBEC) will make its debut at BauhausU on Saturday March 30th 2013.
Along with his art exhibition highlighting the beauty of women, there will be a live acoustic set by two of Josh’s SoCal bands: Rian Basilio and the Roosters and Doug Means Project.
