Polish Day in LA celebrates 25 years of free Poland! This year marks the first installation of a Polish theme during the monthly Art Walks in Downtown Long Beach. The event aims to attract all spectrums of audiences to enjoy Polish music, delicious treats, good beer, and fun for the whole evening.
More than 8,000 children in Los Angeles County, including 600 children from the greater Long Beach area are in need of a temporary safe, stable and loving foster home. In L.A. County, nearly 500 children of all ages and ethnicities are waiting for a permanent, loving adoptive family of their own.

$1,000 cash will be awarded for the best photos! Photographers of all ages and abilities are encourage to take photos within the city limits of Long Beach from Sat., Sept. 15, 2012 at 10 a.m. til Sun., Sept. 16 at 10 a.m. Photographers with the 10 best images will each receive $100 cash, a blue ribbon and public recognition.
