Long Beach art exchange
ArtExchange (ArtX) will host its monthly “artXwalk” on October 10th, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at 356 East Third Street, Long Beach, CA 90802. The event will feature an outdoor film screening, exhibitions, open studio tours, free art activities and refreshments in the storefronts along Third Street between Long Beach Boulevard and Elm Avenue.

ArtExchange (ArtX) has announced Special Exhibitions and program highlights for “artXwalk” on December 13, 2014. A monthly celebration of visual art – each Second Saturday at 3rd and Elm in Long Beach’s East Village Arts District – artXwalk is a free event, open to the public, and full of festivities such as family art activities, live music, artisan vendors, food truck, and art.
ArtExchange (ArtX) highlights the opening of its 3rd Annual Holiday Salon, along with special exhibitions from ArtX studio artists Kenny McBride and Leah C. Dixon at this Saturday’s East Village Art Walk from 6:00 PM to 9:00PM, November 8.
Gregorio Luke will end his summer series “Mural Under the Stars” at the ArtExchange (ArtX) on Saturday, August 23rd from 8pm-midnight. With the urban landscape as the backdrop; attendees will experience an evening of live music, stunning images projected on a large screen, an enlightening lecture, and a chance to view the work of local artists.
The Art Exchange Visual Art Center is at it again with their summer art camp for kids. This quality program guides youth between the ages of 7 and 12, into the world of visual art through hands-on experiences in a variety of visual art media.
Green Long Beach is proud to present the first annual 3rd and Elm Holiday Craft-A-Round hosted in collaboration with the local businesses on 3rd street and Elm Street in Long Beach. This free event will be held Sunday, December 4, 2011 from 11am-4pm, and is open to the public to celebrate a more sustainable holiday by building community, shopping local, and creatively gifting.

The Long Beach Redevelopment Agency (RDA) has completed a Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Art Exchange project located at the Southeast corner of 3rd Street and Long Beach Boulevard.
The EIR determines the nature and extent of the proposed project’s impact upon the surrounding environment, and is available for public review and comment.
Tuesday, June 30 Councilmember Suja Lowenthal, the ArtExchange Board of Directors and the Redevelopment Agency will lead a community meeting to learn more about the ArtExchange project in the East Village.
The ArtExchange is a collaborative art facility proposed for the southeast corner of 3rd Street and Long Beach Boulevard on the former Acres of Books site.
