Long Beach Arts & Services for Disabled
Arts & Services For Disabled, one of The Found’s oldest and most beloved community partners had a couple of tough breaks this week…no pun intended. Their beautiful, art-filled oasis on PCH, just one of four of their facilities providing therapeutic art, music, theatre and other services to severely disabled adults, was burglarized twice in one week.
The Found Theatre is pleased to host a benefit for our community partners at Arts & Services for Disabled (ASD) on Friday, November 2, 2012.
Titled “No Limits,” the evening will feature the first film festival in Southern California dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of the lives, stories and artistic expressions of people with different abilities.
Arts & Services for Disabled, Inc. (ASD) celebrates their thirty-year anniversary with an opening reception for See Through, a collaborative art exhibition.
Since the program first opened in August of 1982, ASD has served over five hundred individuals in their day programs and over four thousand people annually with disabilities in the community.
