Low-income families will be able to have a Happy Thanksgiving meal this year through the American University of Health Sciences community outreach program.
Just in time for Thanksgiving, AUHS students and faculty will hand out food packages and supplies for low-income families so they can have a hearty and healthy Thanksgiving meal.
Dr. Okezie I. Aruoma of the American University of Health Sciences School of Pharmacy has been recognized for outstanding research and publication in pharmaceutical Sciences.
Okezie I. Aruoma Ph.D., D.Sc., Chair of Global Research and Education, Chair of the AUHS Institutional Review Board and Professor of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences at the American University of Health Sciences in Signal Hill, California, was honored with the 2012 Research and Publication Achievement Award from the American Black-Health-Systems Pharmacists for outstanding meritorious achievements in pharmaceutical sciences and his ongoing pursuit of excellence.
