Long Beach Beach Streets
East Long Beach will bustle with activity on Saturday, April 29, from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, for the City’s fourth Beach Streets Open Street event, from Atherton Street up to Spring Street, and will feature thousands of people walking, bicycling and socializing on car-free streets.
Community festivals, traditional and contemporary music and art, concerts and cyclocross and skateboarding demonstrations are just some of the entertainment and activities planned for the “Beach Streets Midtown” Open Street event on Saturday, November 12, along Anaheim Street from Orange Avenue to Pacific Coast Highway (PCH).
Midtown will spring to life on Saturday, November 12, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, for the Beach Streets Midtown Open Street event along Anaheim Street from Orange Avenue to Pacific Coast Highway, and will feature thousands of people walking, bicycling and socializing on car-free streets.
The Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach is opening up its track to the public on Tuesday, April 5, from 11:30 am to 12:45 pm. For the fourth annual “Grand Prix View,” the community is invited to walk, bike, roller skate or even push a stroller along the course where the world’s best IndyCar drivers will scream at over 180 mph the following week.
