On Saturday, September 18, The City of Long Beach Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine hosted this year’s Baseball and Softball Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at Blair Field. The ceremony included an unveiling of the new Wall of Fame at 11:30am, a Meet and Greet with the recognized players at 12:30pm, and the official honoring and announcements of the inductees at 1pm.
Long Beach State baseball has announced the Dirtbags 2011 schedule, which will feature home series against Cal State Fullerton, Arizona, Oregon, Oregon State as well as road trips to Arizona State, Stanford and a tournament played at the San Francisco Giants home ballpark of AT&T Park.
Join the Long Beach Armada on Friday, July 3 for a post-game fireworks show, and celebrate Independence Day early. Friday’s game against the Yuma Scorpions has been moved up to a 6:35pm first pitch time to accommodate the fireworks show.
