Long Beach Century Villages at Cabrillo

Century Villages at Cabrillo (CVC) is a 27 acre supportive housing community established to break the cycle of homelessness. An affiliate of Century Housing, CVC operates on a former U.S. Naval housing site and serves more than 1,000 residents on any given night, including veterans, families, and children. CVC owns, manages, develops and serves as steward of the campus. Supported by a collaboration of nonprofit and government agencies, CVC maintains a continuum of supportive housing ranging from shelter, to transitional and permanent housing, all supported by essential wrap around services such as case management, life skills, employment counseling among others.

Century Villages at Cabrillo During the school summer break, many of the residents at Century Villages at Cabrillo (CVC) have few options for their children once school is out. Traditional summer camps cost about $200 a week. For the children at CVC, these camps are out of reach as many of their families are currently homeless or have limited income.
