Celebrating “National Guacamole Day,” Fuego will present “Guacamole de Fuego” culinary class at Hotel Maya on Saturday, November 14 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Guacamole de Fuego is the final class in Hotel Maya’s 2015 Latin-Inspired Culinary and Mixology Classes series.
Free and Fun! Continuing Free Lip Reading classes are held at the Weingart Senior Center, 5220 Oliva Avenue, Lakewood, CA 90712 through October. The classes are offered through the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) Long Beach/Lakewood Chapter.
The Long Beach Police Department Traffic Section will conduct a DUI/Drivers License Checkpoint on Saturday, November 15, 2014, in East Long Beach, between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m.
