Long Beach convenience store robbery
Monday, February 8, 2016, multiple felony charges were filed against 29-year-old Long Beach resident James Edward Harris for his involvement in multiple commercial robberies.
The Long Beach Police Department has made two arrests in connection with two robberies, and believes the suspects may also be responsible for other robberies.
Long Beach Police arrested a 36-year-old male from Signal Hill, and a 23-year-old male from Long Beach, and they are both being held at the Los Angeles County Jail on $50,000 bail.
The Long Beach Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a robbery suspect wanted in connection with three armed robberies to businesses occurring in the southeast area of Long Beach since Thursday night.
One suspect wanted in connection with the January 22, 2011, murder of 53-year-old Sor Phouma, who was killed during a convenience store robbery located in the 1900 block of E. 4th Street, is in-custody and will be charged with the murder.
