Long Beach Covered California
As part of the City of Long Beach Peace Week activities, interested community members are encouraged to sign-up for health insurance at the 28th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Peace and Unity Celebration, January 16, at Martin Luther King, Jr.
The Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services has received a $225,000 Covered California Navigator grant, aimed at increasing health insurance enrollment in the state. Covered California anticipates a total registration of 1.7 million Californians by the end of the coming open-enrollment period.
St. Mary Medical Centers will help consumers sign up for Covered California health insurance.
Dignity Health’s eight Southern California Hospitals will offer assistance to those signing up for Covered California.
There’s still time to complete health insurance applications by the “new” April 15 deadline.
