Drake/Chavez Greenbelt Opens Saturday to Connect Existing Parks

drake-chavez-greenbelt Mayor Bob Foster, Vice Mayor Robert Garcia and the Departments of Parks, Recreation & Marine and Public Works invite the public to the dedication of the Drake/Chavez Greenbelt, on Saturday, May 10, at 10 am. The entrance is on the south side of Anaheim Street at Daisy Avenue.

A Trio of Holiday Events Create a “Party on Pine”

New Installation of Security Cameras Improve Safety at Drake Park

Drake Park The City of Long Beach has increased its use of technology to support public safety by installing six security cameras at Drake Park, 951 Maine Ave. “These cameras and others are an additional layer of support in the City’s public safety efforts, because they will serve as a deterrent to would-be criminals,” Mayor Bob Foster said.
