The Second Annual Green Prize Festival, in celebration of Earth Day will take place at Cesar Chavez Park (401 Golden Ave.) in Long Beach, CA, on April 25, 2015, from 11:00am-7:00pm. Festival presenters, Green Education, are promising an even bigger event this year.

On Saturday, April 9th, the Long Beach Water Department will join the Aquarium of the Pacific in hosting its annual Earth Day Celebration.
The City of Long Beach hosted a Civic Center Garden Showcase on Wednesday, April 21, to celebrate Earth Week 2010. Approximately 150 people attended and learned how easy it is to eat healthy, fresh food by joining a community garden, shopping at a local farmers market or starting their own garden.
