Long Beach grand opening
The public is invited to attend a Grand Opening Ceremony for the new Promenade Square Park Tot Lot located at The Promenade and East First Street, on Saturday, December 17, at 10:00 am.
“Access to safe, fun places is a basic need in every neighborhood, and this new tot lot will serve the families in Downtown that had to travel a half-mile away to play,” said Mayor Robert Garcia.
The community is invited to attend the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the new Michelle Obama Neighborhood Library, 5870 Atlantic Avenue, on Saturday, September 10, at 10:00 am. Public parking will be available in the lot across from the library on Atlantic Avenue.
The El Dorado Dog Park will provide more consistent recreational opportunities for dogs and their human families with the opening of an expansion area that will keep space available for off leash play during maintenance periods.
