Business, nonprofit, educational, church, healthcare, government and community leaders gathered at the Renaissance Friday to celebrate community and to pray for those serving and working in Long Beach.
Long Beach Rescue Mission hosts the 33rd annual Long Beach Leadership Prayer Breakfast on Friday, September 25 at the Renaissance Hotel on Ocean Boulevard. The purpose of the event is to unite community leaders throughout the city of Long Beach to pray together and receive God’s help, encouragement and blessings as they serve to strengthen the community.
The 30th annual Greater Long Beach Leadership Prayer Breakfast will present its Emerging and Community Leader award at its September 13 event. “These awards highlight individuals or groups that might not otherwise receive recognition for their service to the community,” said Jim Lewis, CEO of Long Beach Rescue Mission, which hosts the annual event.
The Greater Long Beach Leadership Prayer Breakfast will hold its 30th Annual gathering on Thursday, September 13th at the Long Beach Hyatt Regency Hotel. In announcing the breakfast, Jim Lewis, President/CEO of the Long Beach Rescue Mission, called for nominations to recognize Emerging and Community Leaders.
