Long Beach hit and run
On Monday April 25, 2016, at approximately 1:17 a.m., officers were dispatched to an attempt suicide call in the area of East 7th Street and Redondo Avenue, which resulted in the death of a male adult pedestrian.

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, at the recommendation of Supervisor Don Knabe, has issued a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the death of 20-year-old Daniel Gomez of Long Beach.
On Saturday, September 13, 2014, at approximately 12:11 a.m., Long Beach Police responded to the area of Spring Street east of Studebaker Road regarding an injury, hit and run traffic collision resulting in the death of a male adult.

On Friday, November 22, 2013, at 5:39 p.m., Long Beach Police responded to the area of South Street near Ackerfield Avenue regarding a hit and run traffic collision involving a vehicle and a female adult pedestrian, which resulted in life-threatening injuries to the pedestrian.
On Sunday, December 9, 2012, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Long Beach Police responded to an injury hit and run collision in the area of Artesia Boulevard and Rose Avenue, which resulted in the death of a male adult in a wheelchair several hours later.
On Friday, November 2, 2012, at 10:00 p.m., Long Beach Police responded to a three vehicle hit and run collision on the southbound 710 freeway, between the 9th Street on-ramp and the 6th Street off-ramp, which resulted in the death of a female adult, and injury to two others.
On Thursday, June 21, 2012, Long Beach Police arrested the person believed responsible for the fatal hit and run collision that occurred on June 9, 2012, at the intersection of Anaheim Street and Linden Avenue, which caused the death of 51-year-old Yolanda Archuleta of San Pedro.
On June 9, 2012, at approximately 9:51 p.m., Long Beach Police responded to a hit and run traffic collision at the intersection of Anaheim Street and Linden Avenue, which resulted in the death of an adult female.
When officers arrived, they discovered the victim laying in the roadway on Anaheim Street.

On Saturday, March 24, 2012 at approximately 12:50 a.m., Long Beach Police responded to the 1100 block of Stanley Avenue in regards to a call that began as a hit and run incident but ended as a homicide. Detectives have since identified the suspect wanted in this case and are asking the public’s help in locating him.
