Long Beach City Councilmember Roberto Uranga invites the residents of Long Beach and the greater Los Angeles & Orange County areas to celebrate the Holiday Season with the inaugural Posada Navideña. As part of the Daisy Avenue Christmas Tree Lane Entertainment Nights, this free community event will highlight the cultural diversity of Long Beach with a traditional posada Saturday, December 19 from 7 p.m.
In collaboration with a number of local organizations, “Party on Pine” will combine for a trio of parties on Saturday Dec 7, that move festivities from Drake Park to North Pine to South Pine throughout the day (and night) across downtown Long Beach with real snow, music, food and drink, and lots of fun.
The 31st Annual Belmont Shore Christmas Parade comes to town Saturday, December 7, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. This year’s parade is on Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, so the theme, Christmas by the Sea, will support the troops, honor America’s veterans and remember Pearl Harbor.
Santa presents Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach patient, Tyrell, with a new set of hot rods to race for the holidays at Santa’s Workshop.
On Dec. 10, the patients and families of Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach gathered at the annual Santa’s Workshop to become Santa’s little helpers and celebrate the season of giving.
The Christmas Tree Lane parade may have already marched into the twilight, but the fun continues in this festive area of Wrigley with holiday events all month long.
Additional Daisy Avenue Entertainment Nights are planned for December 14th-December 16th starting at 7:00 p.m.
The Daisy Avenue Christmas Tree Lane Parade will march on December 8, 2012! The Christmas Tree Lane Parade begins at 5 p.m. and travels along Daisy Avenue from Hill Street to Pacific Coast Highway and returns.
And, don’t miss the annual holiday village set up in the grassy median as well.

The North Long Beach Community Action Group invites residents to attend their annual community BBQ Sunday, July 01, 2012 at the Historic Long Beach Dairy and Creamery.
There are no membership dues for the Community Action Group and the tax-deductible celebration donation is $3.00.

Tickets are now on sale for the Downtown Long Beach Associates’ (DLBA) massive New Year’s Eve celebration taking place on Pine Avenue and Broadway. Kicking off at 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2011, the high-energy street party will encompass two-square blocks and feature live music by Wayward Sons and Love Fool, covering hits from the ‘70s, ‘80s and the ‘90s.
On Saturday, December 11 at 5:00 p.m., join Councilmember James Johnson and The Daisy Avenue Parade and Program Committee for the 57th Annual Daisy Avenue Christmas Tree Lane Parade.
“The Daisy Avenue Parade is special in that it is the only holiday parade that runs down a residential street and not a commercial corridor,” councilmemeber Johnson said.
