The 6th annual Homeland Cultural Center “Dance Fest” will take place on Saturday, July 20 at 4 p.m. at the Center Theater in the Long Beach Performing Arts Center, 300 E.
Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine (PRM) is the recipient of three Awards of Excellence from the California Parks and Recreation Society (CPRS), whose annual competition recognizes outstanding community improvements, programming, facility design, park planning, and professional and citizen leadership.
Entrance to the Homeland Cultural Center DanceFest are free, but tickets must be obtained in advance.
The third annual Homeland Cultural Center “Dance Fest” will take place on Sunday, July 10 at 4 p.m. at the Center Theater in the Long Beach Performing Arts Center.

DanceFest is an annual showcase of the diverse performing ensembles currently in residence at the award-winning Homeland Cultural Center.
The community is invited to join in the Homeland Cultural Center Groundbreaking Celebration. Hosted by the Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine, the event will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2009, starting at 11a.m. at MacArthur Park, 1321 East Anaheim Street.
