Long Beach Humanity of Greater Los Angeles
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (HFH GLA), sponsors and volunteers all gathered on Saturday, July 21, in Long Beach to celebrate six, low-income families and individuals who are now homeowners thanks in part to the U.S.
Habitat for Humanity surpassed its 400,000 home milestone during its most recent fiscal year. Since the nonprofit organization was founded in 1976, its self-help, hand-up model has resulted in rehabbed, repaired or new housing for more than 2 million people worldwide.

On Tuesday November 16, 2010, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (HFH GLA) and Delta Air Lines employee volunteers attended a much-anticipated home dedication ceremony for the Castillo family.
For the second year in a row, members of the South Bay Association of REALTORS volunteered with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (HFH GLA) to build a home in Long Beach for a family in need of a home to call their own.
Delta Air Lines kicked off a partnership with Habitat for Humanity the week of September 7th with a goal to build affordable homes in seven cities across the country. Locally, employees from Delta Air Lines’ Los Angeles facility have been working on a home rehabilitation in Long Beach for a Habitat Partner family yet to be named.
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (HFH GLA) will celebrate its 20thAnniversary and 630 affordable homes completed with the people who have helped to make it all possible. On Saturday, September 25th, partner families, board members, sponsors, volunteers and friends from the past and present, will come together at Recreation Park (located at 4900 East 7th St.
