The Downtown Long Beach Associates (DLBA) is continuing to address the Downtown homeless issue by implementing an Outreach Specialist to its Safety Guide contract, announced Kraig Kojian, DLBA President and CEO.
Jose Martinez, an employee of Block-By-Block, the contract provider for the Safety Guide program, began serving as the Outreach Specialist on July 16, with his primary role designated to establish relationships with individuals experiencing homelessness.

Innovative community leaders will have a new resource to improve their neighborhoods thanks to a new grant program from the Downtown Long Beach Associates (DLBA).

The Downtown Long Beach Associates (DLBA) will host Out to Lunch, a free series of mini-concerts at Promenade Square Park, every Friday during the month of September. Residents, visitors and employees are invited to purchase ‘Lunch To-Go’ meals from Downtown restaurants while they listen to festive music from local bands.
