Mayor-Elect Garcia Names Mark W. Taylor as his Chief of Staff

Mark W. Taylor Mark W. Taylor Mayor-Elect Robert Garcia has selected Mark W. Taylor as his Chief of Staff. Taylor is currently the Director of College Advancement, Public Affairs and Governmental Relations for Long Beach City College. In his role at LBCC, Taylor is responsible for all governmental relations including advocacy efforts, legislative affairs, media relations, and community outreach.

For the first time in its 12-year-history, BLAST’s Academic Mentoring Program deployed 400 college volunteers to support over 575 at-risk students in a single semester.
