October Downtown Walking Tour Explores Willmore City

Started in 1881 from a subdivision of the Rancho Los Cerritos, Willmore City contains Drake Park named for Colonel Charles Rivers Drake developer of the Pike amusement complex and the Knoll Park housing development.

The 2016 Great Homes Tour, on Sunday, June 5 from 12-5 pm, will showcase five architecturally distinguished homes in the Bluff Park, Naples, Virginia Country Club and Bixby Knolls areas of Long Beach, two of which, were designed by noted architect Edward Killingsworth.
