The Diabetes Program at Long Beach Memorial hosted a booth to teach festival attendees important diabetes education and management tips. The event served as the perfect way to kick-off National Diabetes Awareness Month, which runs throughout November. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than 29.1 million people in the United States have diabetes.
