Olympian Misty May-Treanor Named Director of Volleyball Operations at LBCC

Misty May-Treanor Misty May-Treanor Long Beach City College has named Olympic gold-medalist Misty May-Treanor as the Director of Volleyball Operations. May-Treanor’s appointment is set to begin July 5. May-Treanor will oversee the LBCC men’s and women’s volleyball program and serve as head coach for the indoor women’s volleyball team and the newly created women’s beach volleyball team.

May-Treanor, beach volleyball’s all-time winningest player who starred at Long Beach State University, will compete in the AVP NIVEA Tour Long Beach Open, presented by Malibu Rum, at Marina Green Park.
