Winners Named as Port PHOTOGALLERY Opens at Museum of Latin American Art

Photo courtesy of Port of Long Beach. On Saturday, Oct. 3, the Arts Council of Long Beach announced the winners of the third annual Port of Long Beach PHOTOGALLERY competition. This unique program, on exhibit at the Museum of Latin American Art (MoLAA) showcases work by nearly 80 professional and amateur photographers who captured images at the second-busiest port in the nation.

Brilliant Colors of Van Gogh Shine at Mural Under the Stars

vangogh-mural-under-the-stars Gregorio Luke will end his summer series “Mural Under the Stars” at the ArtExchange (ArtX) on Saturday, August 23rd from 8pm-midnight.  With the urban landscape as the backdrop; attendees will experience an evening of live music, stunning images projected on a large screen, an enlightening lecture, and a chance to view the work of local artists.
