First Lady Nancy Foster to Join Vice Mayor Garcia at the Launch of Shop Small Saturday

Shop Small Saturday Vice Mayor Robert Garcia is asking residents to join him this Saturday, July 27, at 11:00 am, for the first “Shop Small Saturday.” Long Beach First Lady Nancy Foster will help kick-off the summer series as they encourage residents to shop and dine at a local restaurant and retail shop.

Long Beach Mayor’s Pet Received First Cat License in City

mayor-first-cat-license 7-16-10 The “First Cat of Long Beach”—Noah Foster— received the City’s first ever cat license at a special press conference held on Friday, July 16, 2010 at the P.D. Pitchford Companion Animal Village. The friendly cat was adopted by Bob and Nancy Foster from Long Beach Animal Care Services in 2006.

Nancy Foster receives Angel Award from California Families in Focus
