Artful Thinking’s Out at the Movies On Thursday, March 24th, Artful Thinking’s Out at the Movies is proud to present the film screening of The Sons of Tennessee Williams at the Art Theatre of Long Beach, CA. The Sons of Tennessee Williams is a documentary about the gay men of New Orleans who created a vast and fantastic culture of “drag balls” starting in the late 1950s.

Then Q&A with Los Angeles film maker Melissa Bouwman and her 3 minute short, What I Found in Great Aunt Nell’s Closet and a costume contest with prizes and finally the feature film Hellbent and lots of candy.

out at the movies The Board of Directors of Long Beach’s newest non-profit organization, Artful Thinking Organization (ATO), a nonprofit organization dedicated to benefiting those whose lives have been touched by breast cancer or HIV, are planning their premier event titled Out at the movies, a monthly LGBT film screening event.
