Art Lovers Show BIG heART in Rose Park

bigheart2016 It’s called the “Big heART” show. More than 20 artists—including some who’ve had tough times—will exhibit their art, sculpture and photography. This year, host Tim Scanlan of Long Beach Skate has arranged with Pizzanista’s founder Salman Agah to offer delicious pizza as part of the evening.

9th district spring cleaning Volunteers are needed for a Community Clean Up hosted by Councilmember Suja Lowenthal on Saturday, March 22 from 9:00am to 12:00pm along the East Seventh Street corridor. Activities will include mulching 125 newly planted trees, litter pick up, chalk stenciling with youth at transit stops, small business meet & greet teams and Go Long Beach reporting crews.
