Long Beach service changes
Starting Sunday, June 1, Long Beach Transit service changes will commence. In addition to usual adjustments, the Passport route will be on a long-term detour as the City of Long Beach works on the Pine Avenue Improvement project which is scheduled in segments through April 2015.
Long Beach Transit announces its regular summer service change and start of its museum program which takes customers to many museums in Los Angeles and Orange County during the summer months.
Museum Express: One of Long Beach Transit’s most popular programs, Museum Express gives residents the opportunity to travel to well-known, often nationally-acclaimed, museums and gardens for only $8 via a comfortable, air conditioned Long Beach Transit bus.
A number of service changes will take effect starting Sunday, February 12. These changes will benefit many Long Beach Transit customers including local high school and college students as well as those accessing the Blue Line during the late night.
