With its majestic brass, Aaron Copland’s beloved 3-minute Fanfare for the Common Man will begin Long Beach Symphony’s 2014-2015 80th Anniversary Classical Series on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 8 pm, masterfully led by guest conductor John DeMain, Madison Symphony’s Music Director and former Music Director of Orange County’s Opera Pacific.
Mayor Bob Foster and Councilman Dee Andrews are excited to reveal the new banners along Anaheim Street celebrating the Long Beach cultural designation of Cambodia Town, 11:30 am, today at MacArthur Park, 1321 E. Anaheim St., Long Beach, CA
Cambodia Town is the official name for the business corridor along Anaheim Street between Atlantic and Junipero Avenues in the Midtown of Long Beach.
