On March 17, 2014, at 7pm, the Downtown Residential Council (DRC) will hold its March Forum at The Reef Restaurant, 880 Harbor Scenic Drive. The Forum will feature a presentation and discussion on the Proposed Civic Center Project.
The Downtown Long Beach Associates (DLBA) is kicking off the 2014 Taste of Downtown series on March 12-13 from 6-10 p.m. in the East Village Arts District. Continuing its longstanding tradition, The Reef Restaurant opened its doors on Christmas morning to provide warm holiday meals to local underprivileged and homeless families. In conjunction with the Salvation Army and with help from several volunteers, The Reef served approximately 2,400 people from Long Beach and the surrounding communities in just three hours.
