The perfect Fourth of July event involves spectacular fireworks and patriotic music. It has been a tradition all across our country for decades. This year, Long Beach residents will be able to bring their families to enjoy a special evening with the Long Beach Municipal Band performing with the dramatic backdrop of fireworks at Veterans Stadium at Clark and Conant, announced Fifth District Councilwoman Gerrie Schipske today.
One of the largest antique & collectible markets on the West Coast will be held on Sunday, September 18th at Long Beach Veterans Stadium. Long Beach City College’s (LBCC) 2010 Commencement Ceremony will be held at Veterans Stadium on Thursday, May 26, 2010 beginning at 6 p.m. The ceremony will honor LBCC’s class of 2010 which consists of 1,068 graduates who will receive Associate degrees and 570 students who earned certificates this academic year.
