Long Beach Water Relplenishment District
In January, officials with the Water Replenishment District (WRD) gathered with local dignitaries to break ground on a project to expand the existing Leo J. Vander Lans Advanced Water Treatment Facility in Long Beach. The most recent funding announcements will help pay for further expansions and increase the LJVL’s capacity from 3 million to 8 million gallons per day.
