LBCC Offers Free Orientation for Pharmacy Technician Course

Free orientation provides information about career opportunities as a Pharmacy Technician
As the baby boomer generation ages, health care will continue to be one of the fastest growing sectors of the US economy. Long Beach City College, in partnership with Boston Reed College, is offering a Pharmacy Technician training program to prepare interested candidates for employment in this stable and lucrative field.
To learn more, those interested are invited to attend a free information session regarding this new training opportunity on Saturday, December 12th at 10am. The session will take place at Long Beach City College, Liberal Arts Campus Room C-101.
The free orientation will introduce attendees to the requirements and future opportunities available to pharmacy technicians and introduce attendees to the training and skills required to assist a pharmacist.
The career Training Program begins in January 2010; space is limited so interested people should act quickly to reserve their place.
