Leadership Expert Ken Blanchard to Speak at Long Beach Area Chamber Ethics Seminar

Ken Blanchard to speak at ethics seminar Ken Blanchard, one of the most influential leadership experts in the world, will be the featured speaker at a breakfast seminar on “Leading the Ethical Organization” on Tuesday, June 28 at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach.

Highly regarded for over 30 years of groundbreaking work in leadership and management, Blanchard and his co-authors are considered some of the best-selling business authors of our time. Worldwide, their books have combined sales of more than 19 million copies in 27 languages.

The seminar will also feature a panel discussion about real-life ethical challenges faced by business leaders. Panelists include U.S. Congressman Dan Lungren; Cindy Allen, owner and president of ETA Advertising; and Justin Paperny, author of Lessons from Prison and Ethics in Motion.

The seminar is being offered by the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and Ukleja Center for Ethical Leadership at California State University, Long Beach. The Ukleja Center will present Blanchard with its 2011 John Wooden Ethics in Leadership Award at the event. Lindora Clinic is serving as title sponsor. Other sponsors include UPS, Walmart, Ability Tri-Modal Transportation Services, and Long Beach Memorial Medical Center.

The “Leading the Ethical Organization” seminar is Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 7:30 to 11 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach 200 South Pine Avenue, Long Beach, 90802.
