Les Jolis Trésors Gallery Presents French Accent, French Touch
2010-07-19 · By Editor
Les Jolis Trésors, the Long Beach contemporary art gallery, will premiere its latest exhibit, French Accent, French Touch, on July 21, 2010, where it will remain on view through September 12, 2010.
Whimsy, colors as emotion, and quiet moments come alive in this exhibit, through the works of three talented French-born artists:
Straight from the Alps in France, Olivier Clavel’s bold, movement-filled acrylic abstract paintings offer happiness, love, and optimism – truly the finest basics of life! -wrapped in vibrant, swirling colors.
Long Beach artist Olivier Chupeau, known for his stunning sculptures and ingenious window displays, gives viewers both a look at his Cheese Grater People as they go about their lives, and at a menagerie of spectacular flying and earth-bound metal creatures.
And, fellow local artist Veronica Schmitt’s fine art paintings depict the simple beauty in life’s most basic moments through her subtle and thoughtful paintings of people immersed in their daily routines.
The artists’ Opening Reception takes place on Saturday, July 24, 2010 from 6 pm through 9 pm at Les Jolis Trésors, 3226 East Broadway in Long Beach.
