2009-09-11 · By Editor
Long Beach Pets and their people can go “bark wild” at the Lincoln Dog Park. The downtown dog park, which opened in September 2009, is located in Lincoln Park, Civic Center (333 West Ocean Blvd., Long Beach, 90802).
The Lincoln Dog Park is intended to meet the increasing need of downtown residents who need places where they can play with their dogs. The park also re-activated a historic open space in Long Beach’s downtown civic center.
Pet owners in the downtown area are encouraged to bring their four-legged friends to the grand opening. The dog park will feature spaces for large and small dogs along with benches for their owners. Hours of the dog park are from 8:00 a.m. to dusk.
